Mamed

Ron Severdia as ItoYes, now that Mame at Novato Theater Company is finally over, I can purge all of my issues with the extreme lack of professionalism at that theater. Granted, when a theater company feels the need to change their name from Novato Community Theater to Novato Theater Company in an effort to sound more professional, they should be responsible in other ways as well. It was director Michael-Paul Thomsett's first musical and a great learning experience for him. It was my first musical in like 12 years (any my last for a loooong time) and it was something different playing the Asian butler Ito. Some of the people in the cast were nice and one or two were just too primadonna-ish for my taste. They owe me $100 for costume reimbursements (which I'll never see), not to mention hardly a "thank you" from them. Had MP not been the director, they wouldn't have gotten the talent they did (including myself). Yes, it was a favor for MP and, believe me, one that I'll cash in on when the time is right. (Insert evil laugh here)
