Finally...it's here..the free weekend I've been waiting for. It's been a long time since we've been able to take off somewhere for a few days because of the back-to-back performing I've been doing. First at Marin Shakespeare, then California Shakespeare, then at RVP. Now that Wait Until Dark is over, I can take a break for a while.
That means it's time to head up to Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Bob & Lesley Currier, the folksy folks who run the Marin Shakespeare Festival, organize a weekend trip each year. We ride up on a bus, stop somwhere in Redding for lunch, and then stay in Ashland until Monday. We're going to see the critically-acclaimed Richard III, Napoli Millionaria, and Room Service. I think they'll all be great shows--I'll be especially critical of Room Service since I performed it last year at RVP.
