Upset
Well, the Oscar upsets are in. "Crash" takes Best Picture over "Brokeback Mountain" and Reese Witherspoon win Best Actress. Sign of armageddon? I DID call the surprise with Reese though...
The rest of my picks were slam-dunks, except the Best Foreign Film category. I've been spot on for years about that one but this year I guess the Academy sentiments are changing. I also called Paul Giamatti for Best Supporting Actor, but I failed to take into account that he won last year (the Academy likes to "spread the love")...but I would have picked Matt Dillon anyway (he's about due for an Oscar, isn't he?).
