I know it's been over a month since I updated my blog . . . Don't hassle me. I've been working on a bunch of projects and they've eaten up my time.
Natalia & I did manage to get away for a day (we like to call it a weekend but it was a long day from morning til night) down to Santa Cruz. Our Czech neighbors, Filip & Misha, went with us. Filip had his first surfing lesson. After living there for so many years, I've come to realize it's a nice to place to visit and I'm glad I don't live there anymore. There isn't much to do (besides the Boardwalk) except go to the beach every day. I guess that's not a bad thing, since I did it so often while I lived there, but I need a little more variety than that now. We went to the Tyrolean Inn for dinner. Good food but a bit pricey. Cafe Prague in SF has good food for about half the price.
In other news . . . I mostly finished the redesign of our Group101 site. I added a bunch of new movies and created a database in MySQL and used PHP so it'll be a lot easier in updating. Next month, Josh, Natalia, and I are going down to visit our filmmaking cohorts in LA for the fiesta at the Egyptian Theater. Group101 gives out the Ovation Award and this year it's going to Kevin Smith so he'll be there to talk and hang out.
